It is the Pirate Festival in Mahone Bay NS. I love those theatrical types they hired last year to run around being all swarthy like in their "Johnny Depp" pirate gear. A couple were quite cute. I don't mind being harassed by those ones!
Have great friends coming in from T.O. I am so looking forward to some great conversations. I was in the studio today trying to complete a commission. Sometimes I think it would be best to just pack it all in, and run off to Italy. That is my dream. I will do it someday. My Villa will be surrounded by white roses (my favourite) and I will have Egyptian cotton sheets on my bed. (Screw those of you who make fun of me for that, you have no idea what you are missing. You know who you are!) Perhaps it is because you have never slept on them!
I will stay in my studio this evening and become covered in paint...........
