A sense of calm falls at the end of the holidays. There is the week after when I let out a long sigh. I love the Christmas lights, the entertaining, the food and the laughter but this feeling of quiet is so nice too. It's that "everything is done" feeling and I can snuggle up and watch old movies, paint and putter around in my studio. I have the most beautiful inks that I have plans for on a large canvas. Something abstract for sure.
